The noodle soup at Noodle Station in Iceland has somewhat established itself as a national treasure and it is safe to say that locals and visitors have learned to love it. The soup is available in three variations; chicken, beef, and vegetable, along with a mixture of secret ingredients.
The first Noodle Station opened at Skólavörðustígur in downtown Reykjavík in 2009 and quickly became popular. Noodle station now operates two locations, one at Laugavegur 86 in downtown Reykjavík and the other at Bæjarhraun 4 in Hafnarfjörður.
Noodle Station is a family restaurant owned by Charin Thaiprasert a native of Thailand. The soup recipe comes from Charin’s grandmother and has been in the family for generations. The recipe is a well-kept family secret that many would like to get their hands on.
